Purple Glories

These are the gorgeous flowers I remember from childhood. We lived so close to my Grandmother, there was a path worn smooth across the field to her house. My brothers and sisters and I spent many a happy day playing in her yard near the porch where these flowers twined up the porch supports to lavish the eye with their beauty.

What vibrant colors! What vibrant memories! I used to have a recurring dream where I could hold my breath and float. It was always over Grammie's beautiful yard and garden.

Aren't memories wonderful? "Like roses in winter." I don't remember who said it. My Grammie memories are especially sweet. It sounds like we were both lucky in that reguard. One of the reason your site is so special, it lets me reflect on dear memories. Thank you ~ Deann
