Giggling Violets

I was working in my garden when I thought I heard the faint sound of giggling somewhere near the foot of the old treehouse. Searching the flowerbeds, I discovered these two mischievous violets grinning up at me. They'd laughed themselves pink in the face. (Grin)

It is true, you know, the earth DOES laugh in flowers!

They are so cute and funny! And still bent over in laughter! Do you think they would share their joke?

Are you sure it wasn't a tiny fairy hiding under their petals? :)

How beautiful! I never get laughed at in my garden, except by the weeds...

"Laughing themselves pink in the face"
what a marvellous image. And how wonderful it is to think of the earth laughing in flowers. Makes me want to go out and plant every day!

Someone's still holding their hand fast to mouth of flowers up here. No laughing yet. All apprehension,
