Unexpected Miracles

This morning, looking for a photo to post, I found this picture of Dad I took last spring. Unexpectedly my eyes filled with tears, and I wept.

How incredible to realize the twinkle in Dad's eyes will continue to brighten our world. How precious that his grandchildren and great grandchildren will have the chance to know him and hold onto his strong hand. How amazing that he will survive to tell the tale.

An unexpected, wonderful miracle.

I'm sorry, I can't see the comment I'm leaving. Too many tears, I guess. Yes, a miracle indeed.

There is nothing more touching and emotional than a loving family. When one is hurt and in pain, everyone shares the feelings. Family brings healing just by being there. In person or in thought and heart, either way, there for each other through the good times and the bad. What a wonderful touching photo. The unconditional Love of a Grandfather. Thank you for sharing. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this emotional healing time. Love and Light, Nina P.

Heh. I love that picture, how he carries himself, how his body reaches down.
