Forboding

Have you ever had the feeling something terrible is going to happen, and there is nothing, absolutely nothing one can do to stop whatever is coming? One walks toward it, one foot in front of the other, treading reluctantly toward the inevitable, inexorable ending.

Oooohh, that is a scary thought. Can't say as I've ever felt like that. Be careful, my friend!

Those clouds definitely have that quality don't they? It's a good thing we have a higher power to take care of us!

I know the feeling Sissy B I love your beautiful photo of darkening clouds. The arrival of dark clouds on the scene gives me angst and forboding, but it is a funny thing I love them anyway.
God be with you were ever you are.

Oh Beth, I do know that feeling. It, for me, stems from fear. Subconscious fear, doubts, fear of loss, etc... They come out as a foreboding feeling. Sometimes events that are beyond my control bring a sense of foreboding, doom, or trouble. I, at this time, go deep into my soul, my spirit and ask for Guidance and Clarity. I ask my Guardian Angels to come and surround me and my loved ones. I ask the Devine to Bless those around, the earth, the world; and to protect me from whatever is coming and hold me in the palm of his hand. May God Bless you and His Angels surround you and yours with protective wings and keep you from all harm. May the dark clouds give way to the Light b& Hope above the shadows and may God Bless you and yours with His Love, Hope, Peace and Understanding. Love & Light, Nina P

When something untoward happens, we say it was foretold in the skies. When the skies are grim and nothings happens, we say the sign was good but we were lucky. Hard to argue with convincingly illogical thoughts!

Beautiful pic! I've had those feelings, sometimes something happens and sometimes they don't. I push those feelings away now and open my arms and heart to embrace what comes. Peace comes into my heart when I do that.

Corrie Ten Boom once said that she told God that she didn't think she could go thru any more hard times but God told her that he would give her the grace to go thru anything when she needed it.

Email me or call if you need to talk about anything. Are your folks doing okay?

Take care, little one :)

The dark clouds add to the overall feeling. Reminds me of the time of tornados.
