Eye of Tree

Have you ever had the feeling you were being watched? You know, that prickly uneasy sensation right below the neckline between the shoulder blades?

Goodness! Turns out it's a cyclops tree and he's looking right at me. I'm not sure about that quirky little grin he's has on his, er, face.

I think we need to get this tree together with the one I posted a picture of yesterday. They would make a scary pair!

Yes, the cyclops.

Yes, my mom had stories to tell. I used to go with her when she delivered babies as a mid wife. She couldn't leave me at home so I went along. The house you saw, and commented on is one that I laid upstairs with a boy my age in bed waiting on the new baby to arrive. And when we heard him cry, I had to get up and go home with mom.

It does look masculine to me. I think I have been watched all of my life. I am used to it though.
