Day Lilies

This is a photo I took last Spring. The colors of these fragrant lilies are breathtaking, but once opened, they typically only last a day or so.
.
They are called Day Lilies. I especially like the way the flower is accentuated by the reddish brick of the chimney.

Beautiful! Isn't it marvelous the day lily expends its gorgeous energy in a brief few hours?

They really are beautiful and they look great in fron of the brick wall. Thanks for your very nice comments. I have lots to learn about photography but I really do have a passion for it.
