Heart of a Child

When my darling little niece offered me this lovely flower I didn't notice at first it was in the shape of a heart.  Sissy, of course, was the one who noticed first.

It is the Heart of a Child--fragrant, beautiful and a bit of whimsey.

The gift of a flower from a child. And a heart. This picture fills my soul and brings tears to my eyes.

The most sincere and beautiful gestures come from children, too bad we can't keep that in our hearts.

I think I even see someone smiling in that flower. Could it be your niece or you?

Wouldn't the world be a wonderful place if everyone could have the heart of a child.

Hello, Beth. Thank you for featuring my photos on one of your blogs. It's nice to see fellow artists taking care of each other. I'm sorry if I could not have responded to you earlier but I have been busy with the ravages of hurricane Igor. Many of my trees were badly damaged and it made an incredible mess (that will take weeks to clean up). Everyone on the island is safe, but the damage to property will take some to be fully repaired. Thank you again, I really appreciate your continued support.
