Johnny Jump Up Hearts -Guest Heart Thursday

This is what we call Johnny Jump Ups.  They are yellow violets and grow wild in the forests of my childhood.

I was delighted to find them growing in our local park!  They've cleared the brambles away and the Johnny Jump Ups have arrived in force.

They cluster around the trees and along the pathways near the creek....

...to the delight of my darling little niece!

Happy Guest Heart Thursday!

I've always loved Johnny Jump Ups. I plant them in my garden each spring. So cute.
Sweet little niece, you have there, Beth.

Those yellow flowers really know how to quietly yell, "Spring!" Your niece is a sweetheart.

I'm learning a lot from this Guest Heart Thursday linky, now I know what Johnny Jump Up flowers are! :)

If I remember it right, we have the same yellow flowers back in the province...not so sure though...
