Thursday, my darling little niece and I walked to the park in the spare sunlight. As we passed beneath a tree where the ground was thick with yellow leaves--we noticed some friendly faery had scattered handfuls of sparkling jewels along the ground.
They were just for us, we decided. Though we tried to string them onto long blades of grass, to make a beautiful raindrop necklace....alas, we could not.
So we left the sparkling bits of faery dust glittering in the leaves. And waved a fond farewell to the one who had sprinkled them in our path.

These photos are magical. The leaves are such a beautiful mix of color and that daily dust is divine. What a special for you all to find and photograph. “Scattered Jewels” is the perfect title. genie
So very beautiful. Water drops are so elusive in photos...so well done here.
This is lovely, Beth.
I like the title too - "Scattered Jewels". Beautiful shots, sissie! I LOVE raindrops!
I love the close-ups of the autumn leaves.
