Goldfinch Leaf Heart-Guest Heart Thursday
This little fellow is a goldfinch. The reason he's not so golden is that he's wearing his winter garb. It was wonderful to discover they were still flocking to the bird feeder. There are eight of these tiny birds who regularly feed there. Soon it will grow too cold and they will head south for warmer weather. In the meantime, I feel blessed every time I see them.
Did you notice the heart? The goldfinch is the left side and the hazelnut leaf is the right side! Have a lovely day!

You know, if you keep feeding the goldfinches they may just winter over in your yard!
I see the heart - and I see another one too! The leaf the goldfinch is standing on ... curls into a heart on the end!!!
beautiful Beth!
