Band Kitty - Stairway to Heaven

A few minutes ago, my husband and I found out our darling little Crickette' kitty flew away to heaven sometime Sunday morning while we were gone. We are both devastated at the loss of our small friend.

My Lioness

This is My Lioness in late summer. Since Snowbunny left for city living, Crickette' is often my companion whenever I go outside. She watches the birds, stalks bugs and defends her turf. She also seems to find anything I do to be endlessly fascinating.

To be so important to this adorable little scamp is pretty heady stuff! Of course, in the back of my mind I feel sure she's just trying to make my husband jealous.

And she's succeeding. (Grin)

Cozy Napper

Crickette' is the other "woman" in my husband's life.

Though Crickette' seems to seek me out sometimes and even condescends to sit with me -- Alan is the true love of her life. She grooms his hair, kisses his lips (when she can get away with it), sits in his lap and hooks him with a claw to get his attention when he walks by. She demands treats and adores his bearded face.

And of course, as you can see, she's so darn cute she can get away with it!!!

Another great thing about this sweet little cat is she doesn't like to chase birds and such. It is beneath her. Perhaps, along with loving the same man, that is why we tolerate one another!

Mighty Hunter

Here she is--the mighty hunter. However, this fluffy little "lion" would rather watch than pounce.

Green-Eyed Crickette'

This is our darling Crickette'. She has to be one of the most neurotic personalities I've ever met. But lovable. Here she is, peering through the grass at Snowbunny, our black Siamese kitty, who delights in bugging her to no end.
