The Fragrant Dew

The fragrant dew
From rosy lips
Falls gently to the ground.
To share its joy
With those who seek
To find what can't be found.
-- By Beth Niquette

Have you ever had a moment that just falls into place?  That's what happened just now as I saw this photo -- the words just flew out of my fingertips.

Yup, I've had poems spring to mind over the funniest things. Can't remember them now, of course. Something about bees knees and stirring the pot round and round. Oh, and another about dust under the bed and boobs hanging down to the floor and other silly things.
Ha!

Your poem, however is sweet and gentle. A lovely pic too. Dew drops or rain drops make flowers come alive. Nice!

Your poem and picture are beautiful, sissie. Transporting me to a magical place and time ...

The only poems I have ever written are like that ... complete from fingertips to paper, already written.

P.S. I love what Wendy wrote. I wish I could read her complete poems - she made me laugh with just the excerpts!
