Bridge Over Bridge Over Water
I took a whirlwind trip to Southern California last weekend. This was an intriguing bridge combo we passed over and under on our way to our destination. It is a railroad bridge over a bridge, over water!
I've never seen anything quite like it before. What a fun place to take a picture!
Have a lovely day, dear Friends.

Riding the Back of a Dragon
I once found an oaken bridge over a bubbling brook, which led me to a magical place. There was a meadow starred with white flowers in a carpet of soft green moss. There was music weaving a tune through the trees.
Then I stepped down hewn stone stairs to a small lagoon, where I stood upon a beach of blue stones.
Then he gave me a ride on his warm brown back--and we swooped with the eagles, along the shores of blue stone, as the skies reflected the mountains in the still cold waters.

Broken Bridges
Broken Bridges
.
I feel the darkness.
I struggle and scream.
I fill the air with soundless sound.
I wonder what might have been.
Change is inevitable.
But will the broken bridges mend?
I believe in miracles.
But can shattered glass be repaired?
Can that brokenness become beauty?
.
A mosaic of impossible possibilities.
.
"...You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands." The Bible, Isaiah 55:12
.
Well, I'm counting on that.
