Hearts at Sea - Guest Heart Thursday

My darling Sissy loves the sea and hearts.  While we were at the ocean this past week, I looked for hearts.  Here you see one in the sudsy waters.

Sitting high atop a sand cliff, I caught another in the clapping hands of the waves.

But the most amazing heart appeared our last evening there, when I asked the Lord for a special heart for my Sissy--one that would say "I love you."   As I watched the colorful shifting vista, a spectacular heart suddenly bloomed above the wings of a butterfly.

An incredibly beautiful heart for my lovely, talented amazing sister Clytie!  I love you, Sissy!

Living on Thyme - Camera Critters

Yesterday, my sweet young friend Rena and I were walking through the garden perusing the flowers and herbs.  We were both delighted when we noticed this purplish butterfly resting delicately on the tips of the Thyme.  This little fellow was happily eating his fill from the flowers, barely moving--even when I moved the camera in closer.

We have white and yellow butterflies, along with the monarch and swallowtails.  I had not seen this purplish butterfly until this summer.  It seems to especially love living on Thyme.

Butterfly Flutterby

Every day two of these incredibly beautiful swallowtail butterflies flit through the garden. They visit the same flowers, follow the same ariel path each day. One can almost set a clock by when they appear. On this day one of them posed for the camera for quite some time.

Daddy Update: Dad did very well yesterday and this morning. I can see visible improvement with every day that passes. He is getting stronger and more alert all the time. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
