Beautiful Idaho, Gorgeous Oregon

On my way out of Kamiah, Idaho in the early morning--I captured the light as it kissed the tops of the trees.  It was SO beautiful there!

The road ran along a swift stream, where craggy cliffs brooded over the landscape.  I was quite taken with this particular view

I visited my brother and his family, who live in the Columbia Gorge.  This time of year, the hills are covered with beautiful yellow flowers.  Almost as though a cosmic hand decided to butter the sides of the steep slopes.

The wind was blowing quite briskly when I took this picture.  As you can see--it looks as though something has caught their attention.  I think I'm going to draw a cartoon of this--of course, these gorgeous girls will have faces.

Happy Mother's Day sweet Friends!

Rainbow Dancer

I had the privilege of attending the Shulke Farm Conference a couple of weekends ago.  What a blessing it was to see old friends and to hear all about what the folks they'd invited are doing throughout the world.

It was mid-day, when I stopped in the middle of the bridge and took this picture.  When I finally went through my photos, I was astonished to find this beautiful rainbow dancer sliding across the rippling waters of the stream.

What a lovely sight.

Have a great weekend everybody!

Leprechaun Valley

This is from down in the Canyon where a small stream cuts through Leprechaun Valley to join the creek below.  It is a beautiful place.  I have a yearning to walk through these amazing forests.  In winter they are quite different than at any time of year.

Thank you again for your kind thoughts and powerful prayers for our family as we faced the loss of our precious Father and for my darling husband as he faced surgery for cancer.

May the Mighty Creator bless you all with the warmth of His embrace.

Alien Reflections - Weekend Reflections

I took this picture down at our local creek...Here's a closeup.  Is it my imagination, or is that an alien's face reflected there in the water?  This was the day my darling niece felt spooked--so did I, so we left in a hurry.

When I found this photo--it gave me goosebumps!!!  What do you think it is?  I'm going to go down again in a few days to see if it is actually a stump that just looked strange in the picture.  Brrrr....
