Glorious Pile of Shrooms

Thursday my delightful sister Clytie and I went for a long walk through the forest and fields near where we grew up. We had such a great time together. Truthfully, I will never take those times spent with my sister for granted, ever again . . .

Here you see a fabulous pile of mushrooms. I love the plush color and shape they have--the way they mound up and spill over. Truly glorious.

SISSY UPDATE: Clytie is doing very well. I spoke with her this morning--it was SO good to hear her voice. She says she slept well and except for a little weakness, feels almost completely back to normal. All praise for her healing must be given to God. How gracious and kind He is! Thank you everyone for your prayers! God heard you!

That is marvelous news about your sister. I hope she is able to fully recover and get back to whatever she wants to get back to.

I always thought mushrooms were fragile, but I guess they can survive very well, thank you.
I also found several piles of dark brown 'rooms'in the woods recently after we had several hard frosts. I could not believe they were still producing in such numbers.
I think you and Clytie will share more wonderful adventures as you esplore your worlds together. I am so happy for you both.

I am so glad that your sissy is doing so good. I would give anything to have my sissy, Jinx, back for one more day or even an hour. You have been blessed to have her still with you :)

Glorious news, too! I don't think I've ever seen mushrooms scrambling over each other like this. Looking forward to the day Clytie is scrambling out of bed and scouring the countryside again! Praise be to God!

i love mushrooms! Great that your sis is doing well. Has any damage been assessed? She will need you to get her daily funtions back (a lot depends on excerise, etc.)
