Mushroom Fairy Condo -Outdoor Wednesday

I don't know what it is about mushrooms, but I love them.  I have been intrigued with them since I can remember.  In the forests of my childhood we found just about every variety you can think of.  We learned which of these shrooms were poisonous, and which were edible.  These, by the way are NOT edible.

But they are still quite lovely.  I can well imagine this might be used by fairies for a magical mushroom dwelling place.  Of course, I have a GREAT imagination.

Have a wonderful day and have a lovely Wednesday, all you wonderful people!

White Shroom Heart -Guest Heart Thursday

I had the fun of visiting my brother and his family a few months ago.  There's a willow tree growing from the trunk of a tree which blew down--and on that stump there are the most amazing mushrooms.

This picture was taking looking down on the mushrooms which were growing from the side.  The heart is a bit misshapen, but it is a heart non-the less!

Have a lovely day and Happy Guest Heart Thursday!

Glorious Pile of Shrooms

Thursday my delightful sister Clytie and I went for a long walk through the forest and fields near where we grew up. We had such a great time together. Truthfully, I will never take those times spent with my sister for granted, ever again . . .

Here you see a fabulous pile of mushrooms. I love the plush color and shape they have--the way they mound up and spill over. Truly glorious.

SISSY UPDATE: Clytie is doing very well. I spoke with her this morning--it was SO good to hear her voice. She says she slept well and except for a little weakness, feels almost completely back to normal. All praise for her healing must be given to God. How gracious and kind He is! Thank you everyone for your prayers! God heard you!

Risk Taker

This little beauty barred my way as I walked upon a path in the Redwood National Forest. The shroom bravely defied not only the incredible strength and power in the size of the redwood trees, but the rude shock of human boots. I believe if asked the Shroom would say it finds its dangerous life in the pathway to be delightful.

This delicately colored mushroom is a true risk taker.
