Going on a Heart Hunt. We were walking along talking about flowers and other such interesting fare, when my tiny niece suddenly stopped in her tracks.
"What is it?" I queried.
Her eyes widened then she let go of my hand to sprint down the sidewalk. "Look at this!" The excitement in her voice was palpable. Dancing on her toes, she pointed at the heart she'd found in the trunk of a fat tree and shouted, "take a picture of this one! I found one! This is for my Auntie Honey!"
And so I did. I enjoy our heart hunts and sharing them with you is so much fun!

This one brought tears to my eyes! How absolutely and incredibly precious to share with you and my "honey heart" these walks you are so privileged to go on. I am awed and humbled. And overjoyed. Sniff.
