My New Camera

I was devastated when my wonderful camera stopped working.  Thank the Lord, I was able to get it replaced through manufacturer's warranty.  The Canon I had wasn't available and the only one with comparable features was Sony's Cybershot. The above is my first attempt at a closeup.  These are strawberry blossoms!

I experimented with our lovely antique windows.

And the rose on the edge in my garden.

The fireworks on the river were amazing.

I've learned so much about my camera--but it is obvious I have a LOT more to learn!

Strawberry Heart - Guest Heart Thursday

Late this summer, the everbearing strawberries had a big surprise for me.  I was surprised by this luscious Strawberry Heart.  Yes, I ate it--and it was as sweet and delicious as it looks!

Summer Strawberries

There's nothing better than biting into a delicious, red, sunwarmed strawberry. Ah, childhood--children don't care about the sticky sweet juices streaming down their chins. They don't worry that what they are wearing might get stained. They just enjoy that gorgeous, lucious moment.

Ah, hurrah, for summer strawberries!

Best Buds

There is something so precious about true friendship. I found these two lovelies in my garden, chatting away in the early morning sun. It is obvious they are best buds. If they were human, they'd be sitting outside a country coffeeshop laughing together over a steaming cup of coffee.
