The late summer sun flutters through the spreading feathers of the Raptor as he hunts. He is so soft and quiet on wings of air, I almost miss his low flight over my back yard.
In evening breezes the sun shines golden rays through tree shadows, over the intricate woodwork of our neighbor's lovely old home.
Check out Harriet's blog for more fantastic shadowy photography, at Shadow Shot Sunday.

beth, your photos were gorgeous! i can't begin to imagine what kind of camera you use to be able to get a shot of the raptor in flight but it was perfect! and your shadow shot of the house...it had such a warmth and welcome to it...much like yourself :) enjoy your sunday, my friend.

I really like the second shot... the dark skies go great with the sunlight on the house!
The shadows and lighting falling upon your neighbour's house is magical! That's a gorgeous image! Have a great week :)
