Subtle Sun

Making coffee in our tiled kitchen, I noticed a creamy feel to the pale sunshine falling through the windows.  Suitably intrigued, I gasped when I noted the Subtle Sun sketched against the sky.  God's lovely watercolor.  My first attempt to catch the gentle sense of our star was a bit shaky

My second attempt was a little better.  The perfect shape of the sun, smudged with thin morning clouds, filled my eyes to the brim.

Though I normally strive to keep anything man made out of my photos, these power lines don't look too bad.

Have a lovely day everyone!

Plucky Little Singer

Early morning I caught this tiny singer atop a craggy stump.  I found him by answering his calls and listening.  I thought his perch was magestic.  What a gorgeous place to sing an early morning ditty!

Here's a closeup of this plucky little fellow as he sang his song.  He twirtled his tune with all his might!  I think he may be a Chickadee.

Angel Singer

The clouds have been spectacular so far today--here I found an angel singing praises in blue skies bathed with morning sunshine.

Rainbow Around the Sun

Just now I was talking to my darling Sissy on the phone, and stepped out into the morning sunshine. I could not believe my eyes. There was a beautiful ethereal rainbow around the rising sun.

Whenever something amazing, or wonderful happens in my life, there are rainbows. This one seems especially precious to me, because I was talking with Clytie when I beheld it.

And so, I dedicate this morning's sunshine rainbow to sisters everywhere. What would life be without sisters? We are blessed to have each other, aren't we? ((hugs))

Morning Song

Early this morning, I walked along a field where the birds dip and wheel across the skies. Their songs fill the air. I noticed a small sparrow sitting atop a red-leafed bush. She seemed awed by the beauty of the morning...

The tiny bird could not seem to help herself, she burst into song. And so did I.
