Just now I was talking to my darling Sissy on the phone, and stepped out into the morning sunshine. I could not believe my eyes. There was a beautiful ethereal rainbow around the rising sun.Whenever something amazing, or wonderful happens in my life, there are rainbows. This one seems especially precious to me, because I was talking with Clytie when I beheld it.
And so, I dedicate this morning's sunshine rainbow to sisters everywhere. What would life be without sisters? We are blessed to have each other, aren't we? ((hugs))

Rainbows seem to connect us between two distinct types of worlds. They seem to engage us into the flow of the Moment. Its like the rainbow is raw light, ready to take new shapes and new forms. We too have rainbows within us...colour combinations that tell the story of our lives.
Rainbows a wonderful signs of connectivity.
One only ever catches a glimpse of phenomena one is ready and willing to capture with the senses.

Such events are there for all to see, but only if we are open to receive these gifts. (see the poem "Gifts from God" in my new collection of poems, "Rainbow Round the African Sun") I have only seen a full rainbow around the sun two times here in Africa and I wonder how many other times it was there but I was too busy or otherwise preoccupied to see it.
I have the same types of spiritual experiences involving the sky. It's as if God speaks to me through the clouds. Beautiful halo shot!
