This is a photo I took last Spring. The colors of these fragrant lilies are breathtaking, but once opened, they typically only last a day or so..
They are called Day Lilies. I especially like the way the flower is accentuated by the reddish brick of the chimney.

I love day lilies! Mine are yellow and they bloom in early June.
Absolutely enchanting - the way the color of the lilies is accented in the brickwork behind ... perfect.
