Yesterday we drove to a retreat center located in the mountains above Silver Creek Falls, for a rehearsal. As we drove higher the snow began to fall. It was 35 degrees outside, but that didn't stop the snow from accumulating about two inches. The trees were beautiful and I loved watching the graceful fall of the snowflakes.Later as the snow began to melt I caught this lingering Snow Necklace encircling a budding branch.

Delightful little ice sculpture. A temporary ornament. Somewhere, somehow you were given a gift of seeing the 'unexpected' and capturing it to share with all of us ordinary mortals. At least I'm beginning to suspect that possibility.
