In a Squirrel's Eye - Weekend Reflections

Whilst sitting on the swing in our backyard, we were so delighted when one of our dear little squirrels took time to drink from the pond before scampering up into the trees.  We've named this little fellow Charlie!  He seems fearless and loves the peanuts we put out for him.

Charlie has some relatives in my yard -- I can definitely see the resemblance! I'm happy to know I'm not alone in finding enjoyment through squirrel watching! Happy May Day! ♪♫

How incredible that you had the camera right there to take the shot -- and the steadiness to get a decent shot. i love it when luck and skill come together like this. Wonderful photo.

I hope everybody biggies this!

Oh, what a great shot! And what a cutie Charlie is! Marvelous that you were able to get so close, but then I guess he's willing to for peanuts!!
Have a great weekend, Beth!

I do not like the squirrels in my backyard. I'd be happy to send you some new "friends" if you'd like!

This shot almost makes him look cute though. :)

Very cute! He seems to be looking right at the camera. It seemed like today was squirrel day in my neighborhood . I counted twelve of them in less than three minutes when I left this morning. They are everywhere.

Great capture! Squirrels do not seem to have much fear. The ones around here eating acorns and just dare the cats to get close. Your clound paintings are beautiful!

The squirrel, Charlie, is a neat pic.

The leaf in the rock must be worth a great deal.

A cutie for sure! I love to watch them scamper around my yard too -- except when they get in the bird feeders! LOL!

Nice environmental portrait of Charlie. My wife named one the the squirrels she used to feed "Stubby" because he lost most of his tail. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my photos.

He is cute! I would never be able to name all the squirrels in my yard because there are too many. They can be a little pesky at times, especially when they climb up my backdoor screen and then do their business. Not fun to clean up after them!
