Whassat!?

I love to imitate the birds as they call to one another. Sometimes I have lengthy conversations with them. That particular morning, I was yakking with a blue jay, who finally flew in close to see who was doing all the talking.

When I pulled up the picture and noticed the look on his feathery blue face, I laughed and laughed. As you can see, he was absolutely flummoxed to discover I was human.

I love the look on his face! Totally startled at that bird that isn't blue, can't fly, but can still speak his language.

Isn't he wonderful, I love Blue Jays they are so mischievious.
Okay I'll take up to 3 entries in the contest but only 1 bliss!
Also let me say this about most art classes. "Those who can paint, paint, Those who can't teach" Study the artists you love on good prints and in museums. You already have the basics of composition, notice their use of color, light & dark, balance.
Take a community class and learn how to use the medium you want to work in if you have to. I am sure you can do this on your own. Many time a teacher is only a hindrence.
