I found these lovelies flooding the parking lot with their pink opulence! They filled my eyes with such lush color I took their picture. Indeed--Spring is here to stay!

Fills My Eyes
When I see something unexpected, unusual, or beautiful, my focus involuntarily suddenly sharpens and intensifies. The sensation tickles! That's when I say something "fills my eyes." It is the greatest compliment I can give.

Welcome to my World
I have always loved taking pictures. I took my first and only photography class at West Linn High. The photo lab was located in the bowels of the school near the gym's locker rooms. There we learned to manage typical dark room techniques and procedures for developing film.
Things have radically changed since those days. Today's technology no longer requires pungent trays of chemicals and a dark room.
With the invention of the digital camera, I was set free to capture the amazing, unusual and the unexpected. My camera is always by my side.
I never know when, or where I will be able to capture some delicate beauty, or unexpected oddity.
Welcome to my world!

Is it a rose of sharon "double bloom?"
That is a most beautiful looking blossom. What is the tree called? Chilly here this morning it's now almost 11am and it's warmed up to 41. Have a great week-end.
These flowers are diffenitly show stoppers. How pretty. I guess we all want to know what it is so we can find a source and plant it right outside our windows.

Oh, nothing lovelier than cherry blossoms in the spring!
Ohhhh -- we here are still waiting til the Cherry Blossoms bloom ! I guess about 3-4 weeks still -- and one tree is just opposite at neighbor's front yard. Wonderful picture and colors - and a piece of "hope" for me here...
What a beautiful scents ...
